![]() ![]() Safe to use? I'm always afraid of free apps. ![]() Thanks to The Weed above for suggesting it. I tried uninstalling/re-installing three (!!!) different versions of TrackballWorks, including latest 2.2.7. Kensington TrackballWorks app, for my Expert Mouse Wired Trackball, was acting up again today. San Mateo, CA Janu Kensington, the worldwide leader of desktop computing and mobility solutions for IT, business, and home office professionals and The Professionals’ Choice, introduced new KensingtonWorks device customization software to provide a productive and personalized. Note: Follow step 7 to restart your computer as usual. The new device customization software replaces TrackballWorks with a simplified solution. Where many trackballs skimp on the number of buttons available due to their shape and size, the Expert Mouse features a respectable four buttons. You could test the issue in a clean boot state as there could be a third party software conflict causing the issue to occur. I have also tried reinstalling the software many many times. Hi, Id suggest you check if Kensington TrackballWorks is compatible with Windows 7 in the compatibility website. Kensington TrackballWorks allows you to customize your TrackBalls buttons and change its pointer speed and acceleration. I am editing the keys using Kensingtonworks and have tried setting it on both 'Pro Tools' and 'All Applications'. I've noticed that the extra keys can be programmed into basic functions with sucess in PT, such as a right or left click, but more complex shortcuts just don't respond, such as Ctrl+Equal and Ctrl+Windows+L Click. The modifiers work in all other programmes including Avid Sibelius and just don't work at all in PT. With the TrackballWorks you can program each button, for example if you are left-handed and want the right-click on the left. Under Windows, I was used to having the TrackballWorks app, which lets me easily configure button mappings and such. I have read all the pre-existing answers, but I still cant figure it out, so I apologize if this has been answered before. Posted about my SAB listing a few weeks ago about not showing up in search only when you entered the exact name. I am having trouble getting my Kensington Expert Mouse to recognise key modifyers within Pro Tools 2020.2 (Windows) The only thing I still couldnt figure out is how to properly configure my kensington trackball. ![]()
